Robert Walter Litton

February 26, 1951 – April 29,2019




Robert Walter Litton, 68, passed away on April 29th, 2019.  He was born in Barberton, Ohio to Walter & Ina Mae Litton.  Robert was a long-time resident of Copperas Cove for 31 years.  After retiring from the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer & dog handler, he joined the Copperas Cove Police Dept.  Robert was one of the first officers to trade his cruiser for a motorcycle, his dream job.  Officer Litton went to work at D.A. at Fort Hood after retiring from CCPD.  Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Jeanne Litton, son Jonathan Robert Litton of Copperas Cove, stepdaughter Theresa Yost of Dillsburg, PA , several nieces & nephews in Ohio.  Robert was proceeded by his parents, brothers Bill & Butch Wickwirer and stepson Stephen James Morris II.  The family wishes to thank the Copperas Cove Police and Fire Department for being there for them.  Special thank you to Wm. & Bonnie Wilson & Jim & Barbara Litz, dear friends.  The CCPD will bring Robert to the Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery on May 14, 2019 at 10:00 am.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.crawfordbowerscopperascove.com for the Litton family.
