I'm from Petersburg, Va and I presently live in Richmond, Va. I joined the Air Force in 1964 and retired as First Sergeant in 1984 at Minot, AFB, ND. I was in K-9 from 1968 to 1979. Started in Sentry Dogs and had Patrol Dogs and Drug Dogs. I was a handler, Squad Leader, Asst. Kennelmaster and Kennelmaster. Bases assigned (not counting the many TDY's): Pease, NH; Bien, Hoa Viet Nam; Beal, Calf.; Ubon, Thailand; MacDill, Fla.; Hahn, Germany (10 years); and Minot, ND. |
