Hi Dave,
I have another death to
report. Walter Hamel died 06/28/2020. His membership number
is 1964. Walt served in the 42nd IPSD, 1969-70. He has
some great pictures attached to his membership file.
Walt was another friend of
mine. We served together in the 42nd. He was a great
guy, the kind you could really trust in a bad situation. It is hard to
accept that he is gone.

Dave,
Walt Hamel got married late in life
and never had children. His wife died several years ago. He doesn’t
have any family.
I just talked with his church this
morning. They have taken care of all the arrangements. No
obituary. There is a memorial service on 8/22/20. The church is Langhorn
Presbyterian Church in Langhorn, Penn. The lady said she will try to get more
information. If I get more information I will let you know.
