I served in the USAF from 1963 to 1967, I was commissioned as a 2LT in the Oregon Army National Guard in 1972. I resigned as a 1LT from the OANG due to job conflects. I later joined the U.S. Army Reserve and retired as First Sergeant (E-8)with a total of 38 years military service. Due to Agent Orange I have received a 80% disability with a 100% unemployable status. I retired as a Detective Sergeant with 28 years on the Portland Police Bureau. I became Chief of Police for the City Of Warrenton, OR.for 3 years. I then went to work for the UPRR as a Special Agent (Police) after 7 years I was placed on disability (Agent Orange related) as a Senior Special agent/Detective. |
