Dear Friends,

This is Theresa. Last night, just before bedtime, Eddy & I were sitting up in bed reading, like we always do. He was sitting on the edge of the bed when he suddenly fell back. His heart had stopped. My son & I did CPR until the ambulance arrived. They tried for another hour and another two hours after arriving at the hospital. But all efforts failed. And we have lost an amazing man. If I had the ability to rest, I would be doing so. It doesn't make sense that I'm even typing this now. But I wanted all of you to know at once. As you can imagine, we are distraught and exhausted and won't have much else left to give today. I ask that you please keep his children and grandchildren in your thoughts & prayers. Imagining him never seeing those babies again is more than I can stand to think about. Thank you for the kindness and love so many of you have always shown him. He had a great big heart and was so deserving. I promise to check in again soon.
Love,

Theresa
