Biography:
Scott Baker, Unit Director and Lifetime Member of the VDHA, served as a Sentry Dog Handler at CRB and Phu Cat AB, RVN from 1966 thru 1967. He and his dog "Charlie" were assigned to patrol the distant perimeter against enemy penetration. His war time deployment triggered his selection to become a squad leader with the 821st Scout Dog Section of the 82nd Wing, Safe Side. Scott was assigned "Karina" and together they completed the intense seventeen (17) week course which included ambush and recon patrols
