Obituary:

 

Donald G. “Don” Burgin, age 70, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed peacefully on May 29, 2016, surrounded by loving family.  He was born 09/18/1945, the second of twins, to Warren and Maxine (King) in Marysville, KS.  He graduated from Swanton High School in 1963, entered the Air Force in 1964 and went to Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 in the 35th SPS K-9 corp.

 

He worked with AP Parts, on Matzinger Rd, Toledo, OH, for 30 some years, retiring in 1998.

 

Don met Eleanor (Cottrell/Kosier) in 1996, and they married November 22, 1997.  Don and Eleanor attended Calvary Bible Chapel of Toledo, OH.  Don was an avid hunter, golfer, fisherman and bowler.
He leaves behind to lovingly remember him, wife Eleanor, mother Maxine, twin Brother Ronald, sisters Suzanne Dollison and Lynne (Mike) Dollison, son Richard, daughter Jennifer (Dave) Pelton, grandchildren Megan and Cole Pelton, as well many other family, friends, and beloved dogs, Doodles, Davy and Davina and Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his father Warren and Brother in law Bill Dollison.
Visitation will start at 10 am Friday, June 17 at Calvary Bible Chapel, at 3740 W Alexis Rd, Toledo, OH, 43623, with a Memorial Service at 12 noon, followed by lunch, at the church.  Direct all questions to the Calvary Bible Chapel office at (419) 472-9765, ext 100.
