Served as Training Officer of the US Army Scout Dog School and CO of the 26 IPSD at Ft. Benning, GA from June to Dec 1968, following graduation from IOBC and Ranger School. Plt Cdr of 62 IPCT (Phouc Vin) from Jan 69 to Jan 70. On return from RVN was the Chief, Visual Tracker Branch, Dept of Specialized Training, Ft. Gordon. Following IOAC served as Bn Adj and Cdr B Co. 1-16 Inf (Mech), 1st ID, Boebligen, FRG from Jan 72 to Jan 75. Assigned as Operations Officer at US Army Recruiting Command, Ft. Sheridan, IL from Jan 75 to Sept. 76 when I left active duty. Recalled to active duty for Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Jan-May 91. Served in USAR in various assignments until retirement as COL in 2002. |
