Ray 'Roland' Borg passed away on May 20, 2015 in Mascotte, FL. He was born on May 25, 1927.
He served as a platoon sergeant with the 981st MP Co (sentry dogs) at the Phu Tai Detachment. Many members of the Sentry Dogs Alumni remember him as a great leader and protector of his men and kept in touch with him over the years.
Lee Ruth said, "He was like a father to all of us. His loss hit us hard right before Memorial Day."
Besides his men from the detachment, Borg leaves his wife Shirley.
