 Me and Donner Tay Ninh Viet Nam 1969 Biography:
I lost Donner to HIS in sept. of 1969,and picked up Ladd at Long Binh.Went back to Tay Ninh and finished out my tour,leaving Viet Nam in Nov.1969. One sour note was most of my class that went over to the 212th remained PFC the full tour,and all of us was awarded SP/4 2 days before leaving. I then was assigned duty at Ft. Hood, 1st Armored Div. 501st MP Co. Did TDY at Ft. Sill for 3 months for ROTC training as an MP at Camp Eagle. 1971 Feb 19.I was discharged honerable at Ft.Hood.I returned to my old job and stayed for 8 years,then applied under a new program from the government "VRA"Program to the Portsmouth Naval Yard Portsmouth ,N. H. I worked there for 291/2 years as a shipfitter working on nuclear submarines.My health started to go bad so I had to retire early.Which lead me to the VA system.I'm now currently 100% disable.I'm still in my house I bought back in 1973.I never married and have a good dog, he's a PitBull named Zeus. |
