It saddens me to report the loss of fellow dog handler and my friend John "Pops" Reith, who served in Phau Tia, Vietnam with the 981st MP Company, 18th MP Brigade. Pops used to attend conventions and reunions until he got cancer six years ago. He finally lost his battle on October 24, 2011. He leaves behind his daughter, Jennifer, who accompanied him to the 2002 VDHA Reunion in St Louis, MO. He hailed from Pittsburgh, PA. May our brother rest in peace.
