Hi,  I have very sad news.

Robert passed away yesterday when he fell off a couple steps when leaving Scott and Maria’s house after our Christmas brunch.  He may have slipped on some ice.   When he fell he hit his head on the cement walk and knocked himself out and then stopped breathing.  The medics or hospital couldn’t start him breathing again.   We’re all in shock and can’t quite believe it.  Scott’s been helping me.

Mabel thank you for your lovely Christmas letter.  We just had our 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 23rd and had a wonderful dinner and saw a concert.  We had a Joyful Christmas with Jim Brickman.  He was doing fine being on oxygen.

Love, Mary
