Robert J. Connor was born on January 8, 1943 in Vandergriff, PA. He attended Clarion State College before enlisting in the Air Force. He proudly served as a Security Police K-9 Handler with the 96th CDS at Dyess AFB, TX 1963-1965. He served with the 633rd SPS at Pleiku RVN handling K-9 Flame-12F0 in 1966-1967 before returning again to Dyess AFB, TX. 1967-1968. He later received his BA in History from The University of Texas at Arlington. He taught History at Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas for 25 years and retired in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Seago Connor, Daughter Susan Connor Wartchow, Grandson Connor Randall Wartchow, Susan's family Jim Prochaska, Isabella Prochaska, Jimmy Prochaska, Vincent Prochaska, Jack Prochaska, Brother Tom Connor and 14 nieces and nephews.
