Obituary:


Paul Frank Stuart, of East Glenville, NY, departed the confines of this life on March 30, 2016 to join those who have gone before.

Paul was born November 9, 1943 in Gloversville, NY to Lloyd and Genevieve (Brooks) Stuart.

Paul served as a dog handler in Vietnam with the 212th MP 1965-1966.

Paul was a proud member of the fire service with the Wells Volunteer Fire Department and later the East Glenville Fire Department, where he remained a member for the rest of his life.

He worked for Price Chopper as a meat inspector/receiver for 27 years, retiring in 2008. After his retirement, Paul also volunteered at Sunnyview Hospital.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Genevieve (Brooks). He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda (Covey) Stuart of Glenville; his daughter, Brenda Howe (Wayne) of Milton; son, Daniel (Kathy) of Glenville, son, Walter (Stephanie) of Schenectady; and daughter, Paula (Ed) of Glenville; a sister, Donna of Anderson, IN; and a brother, Michael (Mary) of Hudson Falls, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In keeping with a long tradition of services to others, Paul has donated his body to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program to further the education and training of future doctors and nurses.

Internment of Paul's ashes will take place at a later date at the Saratoga National Cemetery.

Please join Paul's family and friends in sharing his memory and sending him on his journey in a way we know he would enjoy. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. or 1400 for you traditionalists, on April 10th at the East Glenville Fire Department, 443 Saratoga Rd., East Glenville, NY.
