 Tom McIntyre and Brandy Biography:
 We are sad to announce that Tom McIntyre, often referred to as "Squid" by many of the 42nd IPSD Dog Handlers, passed away this morning at 2:41 am on 11/26/2013. He was the beloved husband of Jackie McIntyre, the "42nd Mom". She and Tom adopted the 42nd IPSD in early 2000.
Thomas James McIntyre, age 86, of Minneapolis, MN, was preceded in death by
his mother, Em McIntyre. He is survived by Jackie, his wife of 60 years; dear
friends, Vetter Family, Egan Family, Joyce Nelson, Severni Family; and
all the boys from the 42nd IPSD. Tom was the proprietor of Eagles
Edge Sharpening and was very active in the Adoption of the 42nd Scout Dog
Platoon in Vietnam. His buddy was always a German Shepherd Dog.
Funeral Service is scheduled at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Miller
Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation one hour prior to the
service. Interment at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis.
