James T. Doss was a handler that was with me as part of the Top Dog unit that was the first air force sentery dog unit sent to Vietnam-He was stationed with me at Bien Hoa airbase in the 3rd SPS unit-He died sometime in the 1980's in his hometown of Pine Bluff, Arkansas of a blood disorder probably caused by exposure to Agent Orange-I tried to keep in touch with him after we got back from Vietnam over the years, but lost track of him- But after trying to track him down I later learned of his death from his family-He was my best friend over there and should be remembered-
