I handled 2 dogs while serving in Nam. I had Toby M276 for about 9 months when he was diagnosed with cancer throughout his body. They had to euthanize sometime in December 1969. My 2nd dog, Wolf 0X69, I worked with until April, 1970. When I left Nam Wolf was turned over to Norman Root who I came across through the VDHA site and have been in touch with. I also have been in touch with the handler who had Wolf prior to me. I spent most of my time working the ammo dump outside of Phu Tai, a small village to the South of Qui Nhon in the Central Highlands.
