The 2010 VDHA Reunion is set for February 11-14, 2010.

The below e-mail from Fred, Reunion Flier, and Registration was snail mailed to all Active VDHA members who do not have computers or e-mail addresses.

Dear Fellow VDHA members,   All has been set up for the 2010 Reunion at Riverside Ca. Please see attached items to see what will be happening there and the registration form to fill out and send in.  We will have these forms to pull down on the web site also.   Please preregister if you plan to attend.  We cannot guarantee a seat on buses if you do not preregister. I look forward to seeing all of you there.  Bring your photo's to share and your best WAR Story's to tell.  If you know another handler who is not a VDHA member, invite them to come.  All are welcome.   Please send me your ideas on where you want to go for the next Reunion.  I need to send out the ballots to vote on this and I need your input.  You decide where we go, not the Officers, so please send me ideas where you want to go next.   Hope to see you all there.   Fred Dorr and Officers of the VDHA

President's Report from the April 2009 Issue of Dogman:

Time is getting closer for the next year’s reunion. We will be going to Riverside, Calif., for the 10th anniversary of the War Dog Memorial there. We will be staying in Ontario, Calif., and we will bus to Riverside. I am looking forward to this one because we should see a lot of faces we have not seen in a long while. This reunion comes quicker than normal because we are doing it in January instead of October or November. With that being said, I need to get feedback from all of you where we want to go in 2012 on the east coast. I will ask for this in this Dogman and the next one. After that, I will make a list of suggestions and mail out a ballot for all to vote on. Results will be announced at the Riverside Reunion. We will go where the majority of the vote says.

 

 

 

Call the Double Tree Hotel in Ontario, California for reservations at 909-937-0900. Room rate will be $109 per night plus tax.

 

Shuttle from the airport is free.

 

Parking is $9.75 per night if you drive.

 

We are working on Entertainment, tours, etc.  By the next Dogman, we should have settled on where we will go and cost involved.

 

We will have a Hospitality Room as we did in San Antonio.

 

We will have shirts and other merchandise for sale also.
