Off Site Bomb Dump Biography:
I Started Basic in March 1971, then spent a week in the Hospital for Pneumonia,Then Security Police School,Then Dog School in JULY,then combat preparedness,visited a K9 bud at Travis (? Smith,wish i could find him) then went to Clark AFB and on to Korat,came home to K.I.Sawyer AFB where I met a lot of Thailand Handlers,some great friends who I am still trying to track down,I joined the VDHA back in 2003 but let it expire,rejoined in 2008 and went to my First Reunion which I loved,I am a Mechanical Engineer for a company that makes Paper Converting Equipment,I miss working with dogs but I love an organization like this because I feel closer to my dog left behind at Korat,and I want to help preserve his memory and help my fellow K9 brothers in any way I can. |
