SERGEANT - 25X1

The dog was adopted by the military from a family in Oklahoma and his name was Sergeant. When he was shipped to Okinawa they misspelled his name as Sargeant, so it is listed with the military records both ways. His tattoo was 25X1. Steve Bill Cummings found the AF Form 323, and the official spelling typed on the front of the card by the USAF was spelled “Sergeant”. Later, on the back of the card, in hand written information, Sergeant was erroneously referred to as “Sargeant”. There is absolutely no doubt about the spelling, now.
