I retired from the military May 28, 2008 after 30 yrs, 10 months, and 5 days from a combination of Air Force, Air National Guard, and Army National Guard. In addition to my 20 months in Thailand, I also spent 13 months in Korea, 8 months in Kuwait, 2 months in Afghanistan, and 2 months in Iraq. I still work for the Missouri National Guard as a state employee repairing navigational instruments for U.S. Army helicopters.
