Who Can Join?

VDHA membership is open to veterans of all branches of the Armed Services who served as an official War Dog Handler, Military Working Dog Handler, Combat Tracker, Veterinarian, Veterinary Technician, War Dog Platoon Leader, or War Dog Trainer in times of war, conflict, or peacekeeping missions. In addition, a special “Associate” level is open to those who love dogs and want to support our mission.

Membership Levels

Service-Connected Disability Discount

If you have a service-connected disability of 51-79%, we are pleased to offer you a membership discount of 50% off of the annual dues. If your disability rating is 80% or more, we waive all dues, and provide a lifetime membership at no charge, with voting privileges. 

Documentation is required to support your disability discount request.  You may download your VA Benefit letter here. 

There are 3 ways to submit it to us:
1) Upload it directly to the application below.
2) Email it to Bob at bobpalochik@vdha.us
3) Put a stamp on it and mail it to Bob at: VDHA c/o Bob Palochik, 10125 Skye Saddle Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89166-6597

Final determination of membership type is at the discretion of the VDHA Board of Directors.

When your application is approved, you will be emailed a membership link to submit payment if due and/or your login credentials.

VDHA is a 501(c)(19)(a) tax-exempt, non-profit organization incorporated in California (IRS #33-0690480). All donations are tax deductible.
