We had most of our handlers stationed in Danang and we were sent out and attached to varios combat units. I worked for recon as did 5 other handlers and dogs. My first dog Irish was KIA, and was responsible for saving the lives of several marines. Prince was my second dog and he was the ultimate warrior and was fabulous. I worked in Khe Sahn and Con Thien, and quang tri, and Dong Ha. I hope my fellow handlers are members here and get in touch with me. Im looking for Jim Schumann and others. |
